Mechanical Design

At Mint Design it may seem that the majority of the work we do is fabrication.  However in order to produce the parts nearly everything is modeled in CAD to ensure less waste in material and to also verify the design.  Everything from correct clearances, dynamics of parts/assemblies, strength and deflection under use can be checked before any material is cut.  This allows for a very efficient manufacturing process and avoids costly mistakes on the production floor, because it is much easier to fix in CAD.

We have the tools to perform finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).  Here are some of the examples of projects we have worked on.
